BBC Knowledge

Though they tried restricting this to only 2D, they couldn't help but use minimal 3D stuff (I think they could've pulled it off in all 2D). Still, really neat, especially how the transitions worked. My biggest complaint are the little eyes that fly around -- what's that all about? Guess it's about seeing things...

Curling Players

Love the style. Never thought one would do a design on such an obscure sport as curling...

Apache

Beautiful (and a bit trippy) piece.

Eye of the Storm

Beautiful music video. I thought the character felt too real to have been animated -- I was right. The character was shot against a blue-screen, and everything else is animated; their animating skills is reflected by the dragon flying... felt a bit jerky and unnatural. I do, however, fully dig their lightning shots. (They even have a nice tutorial on how to achieve that look, using Trapcode Particular.)

Water Ink

Beautiful. It's the right usage of medium to reflect the message. Spot-on.

Genki Sudo's World Order

World Order: a (relatively) new group in Japan. Their dance style is pretty interesting, to say the least. Can't imagine the time it takes to (1) have such fine muscle control and (2) choreograph all the different elements (esp. around the 4:50 mark). A quick Google search reveals that Genki Sudo (the main person in each of the videos) is a retired mixed martial artist/kickboxer who's now using his skills for dance.

SOS: Save our Supplies

Nice work by Shilo. All practical, as far as I can tell.
